Pickled Shrimp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 1/2 lb. shrimp in shell
    1/2 c. celery tops
    1/4 c. mixed pickling spices
    3 1/2 tsp. salt
    2 c. sliced onions
    7 or 8 bay leaves
Preparation
    Cover shrimp with boiling water. Add celery, spices and salt. Cover. Simmer 5 minutes. Drain. Cool. Peel shrimp and devein. Alternate shrimp and onion in a shallow dish. Add bay leaves. Marinate 24 hours in Pickling Marinade.
