Squash Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 c. squash, sliced thin
    4 c. grated carrots
    4 bell peppers, chopped
    1 c. chopped onion
    1/2 c. salt
    3 c. vinegar
    3 c. sugar
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. mustard seed
Preparation
    Drain and rinse squash mixture.
    Add to boiling vinegar. Remove from heat and put in pint jars.
    Makes 5 pints.
