Poodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8 frankfurters
    3/4 c. milk
    3/4 tsp. baking powder
    prepared mustard
    1 egg
    1/4 tsp. salt
    flour (enough to thicken)
    cheese
Preparation
    Boil frankfurters 10 minutes and drain.
    Split lengthwise nearly through.
    Spread cut surfaces with prepared mustard and lay a half inch strip of cheese in each.
    Fasten together with toothpicks.
    Make a fritter batter.
    Coat dogs with this and fry golden brown in 1 inch of Crisco oil in skillet.
    Serve hot.
