Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. cooked rice
    3 c. milk
    1 egg, beaten
    1/2 c. sugar
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Combine rice, milk, sugar, butter and egg.
    Cook over medium heat until thickened, about 30 minutes, stirring often.
    Add vanilla and pour into serving dishes.
    Serve hot or cold.
