Tortilla Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small onion, chopped (1/4 c.)
    1 hot chili pepper, seeded and chopped
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 large tomato, peeled and chopped (1 c.)
    1 can condensed beef bouillon
    1 can condensed chicken broth
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 1/2 c. tomato juice
    1 tsp. ground cumin
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
    2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    1 Tbsp. bottled steak sauce
    3 tortillas, cut in 1/2-inch strips
    1/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    Saute onion, hot pepper and garlic, in oil, until soft, in a large saucepan, about 5 minutes.
    Add tomato, bouillon, broth, water, tomato juice, cumin, chili powder, salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and steak sauce.
    Bring to a boil; lower heat to simmer; simmer for 1 hour.
    Add tortillas and cheese; simmer 10 minutes longer.
