Chocolate Satin Frosting - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sifted confectioners sugar
    2 Tbsp. hot water
    3 (1 oz.) sq. chocolate, melted
    1 slightly beaten egg
    4 Tbsp. softened butter
    1/4 tsp. rum extract
    pecans or walnuts, chopped fine
Preparation
    Blend sugar and hot water into chocolate.
    Beat half of egg into chocolate mixture, then beat in remaining half of egg.
    Beat in butter, 1 tablespoon at a time.
    Blend in extract.
    (Frosting will be thin at this point.)
    Place pan in ice water and beat until spreading consistency.
    Spread on cake.
    Trim by placing nut halves on top and sides.
    Frosts top and sides of 2 (9-inch) layers.
