Reese Bars - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. peanut butter
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1/2 c. butter, melted (1 stick)
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 lb. powdered sugar
    1 c. chocolate chips
    2 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Mix peanut butter, brown sugar, butter and vanilla until smooth.
    Add powdered sugar a little at a time (you may not need the full pound) until smooth and spreadable.
    Spread in buttered 13 x 9-inch pan.
    Melt together over hot, not boiling, water the chocolate chips and butter.
    Spread over peanut butter mixture. Let set, then cut into squares.
