Hot Cucumbers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 qt. sliced cucumbers
    2 lb. sliced onions
    1 green pepper
    1 (4 oz.) jar pimento
    1/3 c. salt
    3 c. sugar
    2 c. white vinegar
    1 tsp. celery seed
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients, except cucumbers, and dissolve.
    Pour over cold cukes.
    Keeps all winter in refrigerator.
    Makes 5 quarts.
    Keep adding cukes.
    Keep liquid no longer than 6 months.
