Miss Maude'S Soft Molasses Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 c. Crisco
    2 eggs
    1 c. molasses
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. baking soda
    1 Tbsp. ginger
    5 c. flour
    1 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Blend eggs, sugar, Crisco and molasses. Sift in flour, ginger, baking soda and salt. Stir in boiling water and mix well. Drop mixture by spoonfuls onto greased baking sheet.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
    Yields 4 to 5 dozen.
