Baked Hash Browns - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. (2 lb.) frozen hash browns (defrosted)
    1/2 c. onions, chopped
    1 tsp. salt
    1/2 tsp. pepper
    1/2 stick butter or margarine (I use light margarine sticks like parkay)
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 c. of canned milk (I use the skim milk)
    1 c. sour cream (I use Land o'Pine fat free)
    2 c. grated cheddar cheese (I use Alpine Lace or other light cheddar)
Preparation
    Melt butter; thaw potatoes enough to mix well.
    Combine all other ingredients, except cheese, with potatoes and butter. Pour into greased 9X13 pan.
    Cover with cheese.
    Bake at 350 for 45-60 minutes.
