Custard Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pint (2 cups) milk scalded (do not boil)
    3 eggs, beaten
    1/2 c. white sugar
    dash of salt
    dash of nutmeg
    unbaked 9 inch pie shell
Preparation
    Add beaten eggs to milk gradually, then add sugar, salt. Pour into unbaked 9 inch pie shell.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg and bake 20 minutes at 400\u00b0, then lower heat to 350\u00b0 and bake until done. Test by inserting toothpick in center.
    When toothpick comes out clean pie is done.
