Squash Turnovers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cooked squash, drained and mashed
    2 Tbsp. onions, chopped
    1 egg, beaten
    2 Tbsp. milk
    salt and pepper (pinch)
    1/2 tsp. sugar
    1/2 c. self-rising flour
Preparation
    Mix all ingredients.
    Drop by spoonfuls into hot oil in frying pan.
    Fry until golden brown.
    Turn over, fry on both sides. Turnovers may be cooled and frozen, placing wax paper between each.
    Thaw and reheat.
