Chinese Chicken And Vegetables - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 chicken, cut up
    2 Tbsp. lemon juice
    salt and pepper
    3 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    1 tsp. sugar
    1 green pepper, chopped
    1 pkg. frozen broccoli, thawed
    2 green onions, chopped
    1/2 c. chicken broth
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 Tbsp. soy sauce
    2 ripe tomatoes, cut in eighths
    4 c. hot cooked rice
Preparation
    Spread chicken pieces on wax paper.
    Brush with lemon juice. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Heat oil in large skillet.
    Add chicken; brown quickly on all sides.
    Drain oil.
    Add sugar, green pepper, onions, broccoli and chicken broth.
    Bring to boil; lower heat, cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
    Blend cornstarch and soy sauce; gradually stir in and mix well.
    Simmer briefly until thickened.
    Serve over rice.
