Beef And Corn Casserole - cooking recipe

2 Tbsp. oil
1 green pepper, chopped
1 onion, chopped
1 lb. lean ground beef
1 (1 lb. 1 oz.) can cream-style corn
salt
2 firm ripe tomatoes, peeled and sliced
1 c. buttered bread crumbs
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Heat oil in skillet.
Add the pepper and onion; cook, stirring often until onion is soft.
Add the ground beef, breaking into small bits.
Cook until brown.
Stir in corn and salt to taste.
Mix well.
Place in a baking dish.
Cover with tomato slices and sprinkle the crumbs over the top.
Bake 25 minutes or until crumbs are brown.
