Stuffed Green Peppers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 large green peppers
    1 c. boiling salted water with 1 1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 lb. ground beef
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/2 c. coarse dry bread or cracker crumbs
    1 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    1 Tbsp. chopped onion
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0 (moderate). Cut a thin slice from the stem end of each pepper.
    Wash outside and inside. Remove all seeds and membranes. Cook peppers in boiling salted water 5 minutes. Drain.
