Lemon Tea Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 1/2 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. milk
    juice of 1 lemon
    1/2 c. sugar
Preparation
    Cream butter and 1 cup sugar.
    Add eggs, then dry ingredients alternately with milk.
    Grease and line a loaf pan with paper. Pour in batter and bake at 375\u00b0 for about 50 minutes.
    When done, spread immediately with mixture of lemon juice and 1/2 cup sugar. Cool before slicing.
