Hot Water Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. self-rising corn meal
3 c. hot water
1 c. hot oil
Preparation

Bring water to boiling point.
Add to meal and stir until mixture is to the consistency of stiff grits.
Wet hands.\tTake heaping tablespoon of mixture and roll into ball about size of a golf ball.\tFlatten and drop in hot oil.
Cook to golden brown. Serve hot.\tServes 4.
