Kansas Dirt Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 large pkg. chocolate or chocolate mint sandwich cookies
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1/2 c. butter
1 c. powdered sugar
1 large carton whipped topping
2 (3 1/2 oz.) boxes instant vanilla or French vanilla pudding
3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Crush cookies and put half crumbs in 9 x 13-inch pan.
Mix cream cheese and butter until smooth with mixer.
Mix in powdered sugar.
Fold in whipped topping.
In separate bowl, mix pudding, milk and vanilla.
Fold in cream cheese and pudding mixture together.
Pour into pan on cookie crumbs.
Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top.
