Grandma Kreyer'S Molasses Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2/3 c. shortening
2/3 c. molasses
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. salt
3/4 tsp. ginger
2 1/4 c. flour

Preparation

Mix the baking soda in with the buttermilk. Combine the other ingredients in with buttermilk and mix together. Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 35 minutes.
