Easy Noodle Casserole(Makes 8 Servings) - cooking recipe

1 lb. lean ground beef, turkey or chicken
1 c. chopped onion
2 cloves garlic, minced
3 1/2 c. (28 oz.) crushed tomatoes
1 tsp. dried oregano leaves, crushed
3/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped spinach
4 oz. (1 1/2 c.) dry wide egg noodles, cooked and drained
1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese, divided
Preparation

Prepare spinach per package instructions.
Drain well and set aside.
In large skillet brown beef with onion and garlic.
Drain well.
Mix in tomatoes, oregano, salt and pepper.
Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Mix in spinach, cook for an additional 10 minutes.
Blend in noodles.
In 12 x 7-inch baking dish, layer half of meat mixture and half of cheese.
Repeat layers.
Bake in preheated 350\u00b0 oven for 15 to 20 minutes, or until heated through.
