Ingredients

1 pt. milk
1/2 c. coconut
2 Tbsp. flour
1 c. sugar
pinch of salt
1 Tbsp. butter
whites of 2 well beaten eggs
ready baked crust
Preparation

Put milk and coconut into a double boiler.
When hot, add flour mixed with sugar.
Add salt.
Cook until thickened.
Just before taking off the stove, add butter.
Take from stove and quickly add the whites of two well beaten eggs.
Pour into ready baked crust. Spread over the top, whites of two eggs well beaten.
Spread thick with coconut and sprinkle with sugar.
Place into oven and brown.
