Italian Beef - cooking recipe
Ingredients

5 lb. sirloin roast or unrolled rump roast, sliced paper thin and tied
1 clove garlic
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp. pepper
1 tsp. sweet basil
1 tsp. crushed red pepper (cut back if you don't like it hot)
1 tsp. parsley
1 tsp. garlic powder
2 bay leaves
2 c. water
Preparation

Place meat, spices and water in roast pan; bake in a 325\u00b0 oven for 3 to 4 hours, cutting string and basting the last 1/2 hour. Serve on Italian or French bread or hard rolls.
