Honey Spice Snaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
    3/4 c. shortening
    1 egg
    1/4 c. honey
    2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. cloves
    1 tsp. ginger
Preparation
    Cream sugar and shortening.
    Blend in egg and honey.
    Add dry ingredients.
    Beat well.
    Chill dough for 1 hour.
    Shape dough into balls, using a rounded teaspoonful for each.
    Dip half of each ball into water and then into granulated sugar.
    Place the sugared side up on ungreased baking sheets.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 12 to 15 minutes.
