Creamy Squash Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 to 2 lb. sliced yellow squash
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
1 (4 oz.) jar chopped pimientos
1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, thinly sliced
2 medium chopped onions
16 oz. shredded cheese
1 stick oleo
1 (8 oz.) pkg. herb stuffing mix
Preparation

Cook squash in salted water until tender.
Drain well.
Add next 5 ingredients and 8 ounces cheese.
Melt butter in frying pan.
Add stuffing and mix well.
Pack into casserole dish with squash mixture.
Sprinkle the rest of the cheese on top.
Bake at 350\u00b0 about 1 hour.
