Angel Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 egg whites
24 saltine crackers, crushed
1 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 pt. whipping cream (real)
1 small can crushed pineapple, drained
1 pkg. frozen grated coconut, thawed
Preparation

Beat egg whites until stiff.
Gradually add sugar.
Sprinkle cream of tartar over mixture, mixing well.
Fold in crushed saltines, nuts and vanilla.
Pour into ungreased (see note) 9-inch square pan and bake at 325\u00b0 for 25 to 30 minutes.
Remove from stove and let cool completely.
