Apple-Cream Coffee Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. chopped walnuts
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 c. sifted flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. soda
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sour cream
    1 apple
Preparation
    Mix in small bowl the walnuts, cinnamon and 1/2 cup sugar. In large bowl, cream butter and 1 cup sugar, then add eggs and vanilla.
    Combine flour, baking powder, soda and salt.
    Stir dry ingredients at low speed alternately with sour cream.
    Spread half of batter in greased 9-inch tube pan and top with apple, pared, cored and thinly sliced and half of walnut mixture.
    Then add remaining batter and top with remaining walnut mixture.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
    Cool for 30 minutes.
