Aunt Ruth'S Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

4 c. sugar
1 c. cocoa
1 c. lard
1 1/2 c. boiling water
6 c. flour
2 Tbsp. soda
2 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. vanilla

Preparation

Combine sugar, lard and cocoa.
Add boiling water and mix well.
Add flour and soda alternately with buttermilk.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean.
