South Of The Border Burgers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 to 1 1/2 lb. lean ground beef
1 small onion
1 tsp. chili powder
1/4 tsp. ground cumin
1/8 tsp. garlic powder
2 Tbsp. catsup
6 hard rolls or onion buns, split and toasted
1/2 c. sour cream
1/3 c. catsup
1 (4 oz.) can green chilies (optional)
lettuce leaves (optional)
tomato slices (optional)
Preparation

Combine first six ingredients, the beef, onion, catsup and spices.
Mix thoroughly.
Shape into six patties.
Grill over medium-hot coals to desired doneness.
Spread 2 tablespoons of combined sour cream, catsup and chilies on bottom half of each roll.
Place burgers on top.
Top with additional sauce, lettuce and tomato if desired.
Top with remainder of rolls or buns.
