Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. yellow corn meal
    1/3 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. baking soda
    2 eggs, beaten
    1 c. buttermilk
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1 (8 3/4 oz.) can cream-style corn
    1/3 c. chopped onion
    2 Tbsp. chopped green pepper
    1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
Preparation
    In a mixing bowl, combine corn meal, flour, sugar, salt, baking powder and baking soda.
    Combine remaining ingredients and then add to the dry ingredients.
    Stir only until moistened.
    Pour into a greased 9 x 9-inch baking pan or 10-inch heavy skillet. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 35 minutes, or until bread is golden brown and when toothpick in center comes out clean.
