Easy Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large bag frozen mixed vegetables
    4 medium potatoes, cubed
    1 lb. beef (ground or stewed)
    1 small onion, chopped
    2 ribs celery, chopped
    1 big can tomato juice
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 bay leaf (optional)
Preparation
    Brown beef with onion and celery and drain.
    Combine all ingredients in Dutch oven and simmer for 30 minutes or until vegetables are tender.
    Can be put in crock-pot on high for 8 to 10 hours.
