Icebox Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 large cucumbers, sliced
    5 small white onions, sliced
    3 c. white sugar
    3 c. cider vinegar
    1/8 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. celery seed
    1 tsp. mustard seed
    1/4 tsp. turmeric
Preparation
    In a gallon jar, combine all ingredients except cucumbers and onions.
    Mix well, stirring to dissolve sugar.
    Add sliced cucumbers and onions to mixture.
    Refrigerate for 1 week to season.
