Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1 tsp. baking powder
    2 eggs
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    2 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
Preparation
    Cream the shortening, 1 1/2 cups of sugar and eggs until fluffy.
    Sift flour, cream of tartar, baking soda and salt.
    Add to creamed mixture, mixing well.
    Roll in small balls, then roll in combined 1 cup sugar and cinnamon mixture.
    Place on greased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 400\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
