Brunswick Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large fat stewing hen
    1 1/4 lb. ground beef
    1 lb. sausage
    2 cans whole kernel corn
    4 to 6 medium potatoes
    1 medium onion
    1 can tomato sauce
    hot sauce or 1 tsp. red pepper
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Stew chicken in crock-pot until tender.
    Remove meat from bones.
    Reserve broth.
    Cook sausage, ground beef and onion. Drain.
    Add chicken, sausage and beef to chicken broth in crock-pot.
    Dice potatoes and add to broth.
    Add corn and tomato sauce to broth.
    Add red pepper and salt and pepper to taste. Cook on low heat for 3 to 4 hours.
    (Good for freezing.)
