Heavenly Pineapple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box Jiffy yellow cake mix
    1 (8 oz.) softened cream cheese
    1 pkg. instant vanilla or French vanilla pudding
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    1 regular container Cool Whip
    3/4 c. chopped nuts (optional)
Preparation
    Heat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Make cake according to package directions. Bake in a 13 x 9-inch pan for 15 minutes.
    Cool.
    Make pudding according to package directions and mix with cream cheese until smooth.
    Spread cream cheese/pudding mixture over cooled cake. Spread pineapple on top, then Cool Whip and refrigerate for 2 hours or more.
    Sprinkle on chopped nuts and serve.
