Chicken Cacciatore - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
    1 medium onion, sliced
    1 medium green pepper, cut into thin strips
    1 Tbsp. oil
    8 oz. stewed tomatoes
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 tsp. garlic powder
    1/4 tsp. dried oregano leaves
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. pepper
    2 c. cooked rice
Preparation
    Cook chicken, onion and pepper in hot oil in a large skillet until lightly browned.
    Add remaining ingredients, except rice. Bring to a boil.
    Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes.
    Serve chicken and vegetables over rice.
