Allison'S Squash Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. sliced squash
    2 c. sliced onion
    3 Tbsp. butter
    1/2 pkg. crumbled crackers
    4 oz. grated cheese
    1 c. water
    salt (optional)
    pepper (optional)
Preparation
    In a large skillet, steam squash and onions in butter and water, cover with a lid.
    When squash is done, remove skillet from heat. Crumble crackers over squash, then sprinkle cheese on top. Cover for five minutes to let steam melt cheese.
