Potato Soup(Serves 4) - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 medium white potatoes, sliced
    1/2 c. chopped onions
    water
    1 or 2 tsp. salt
    pepper to taste
    1/2 c. butter
    1 c. milk
Preparation
    Put potatoes and onions in heavy pot; cover with cold water. Add salt and pepper.
    Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer until potatoes flake and water is cooked down.
    Remove from heat, add butter.
    Mash potato mixture until slightly lumpy.
    Add milk, stirring well.
    Simmer 3 minutes.
    Serves 4.
