Half Pound Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 lb. butter
1 3/4 c. sugar
6 eggs
2 c. flour (cake)
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation

Cream sugar and butter well.
Add one egg at a time; beat well after each.
Reduce speed of mixer and add flour small amounts at a time, beating well, then add vanilla and salt, beating well. Cook in floured and greased tube pan.
Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour and 15 minutes.
