Ingredients
    1/3 c. unsalted margarine
    1/4 c. sugar or 4 packets artificial sweetener
    1 egg
    3/4 c. whole wheat pastry flour
    2/3 c. sugarless jam
    1/4 c. chopped almonds
    1/2 c. unbleached white flour
Preparation
    Cream the margarine and sugar until fluffy.
    Beat in egg. Stir in flours.
    Press into a lightly greased 8 x 8-inch pan. Spread jam over crust, evenly.
    Sprinkle nuts over jam.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 22 minutes, until firm.
    Cool before cutting.
