New England Fruit Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. flour
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    3/4 tsp. salt
    1/4 tsp. nutmeg
    2/3 c. sugar
    1/2 c. oleo
    1 unbeaten egg
    1 Tbsp. milk
    1 1/2 c. apples, pared and coarsely shredded
    1/2 c. chopped dates
    1/2 c. raisins or nuts
Preparation
    Sift flour, cinnamon, salt and nutmeg together; set aside. Cream sugar and oleo.
    Add egg and milk; beat well.
    Gradually add dry ingredients to creamed mixture, then add apples, dates and raisins or nuts.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 to 45 minutes in greased pan or greased bowl.
