Peanut Butter Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 c. confectioners sugar
3/4 c. peanut butter
4 egg yolks, beaten
3/4 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1/3 c. cornstarch
2 1/2 c. heated milk
3 Tbsp. butter
1 Tbsp. vanilla
1 baked 9 or 10-inch pie crust
Preparation

In mixer combine confectioners sugar and peanut butter.
Blend to meal consistency.
Place half in baked pie shell; save other half for top of pie.
Combine egg yolks, salt and small amount of milk.
Add to heated milk, stirring constantly.
Mix sugar and cornstarch; add to heated milk, stirring constantly.
Add butter. When thickened, remove from heat and add vanilla.
Pour over other ingredients in pastry shell.
Add remaining peanut butter and sugar over top of pie.
