Apple Crunch - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. flour
    1/2 c. butter
    1 tsp. baking powder
    dash of salt
    1 egg, beaten
Preparation
    Mix all together.
    Butter bottom of baking dish, slice 3 large apples real thin and place in dish.
    Put in 1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup water and dash of cinnamon over apples.
    Take mixture and place over apples.
    Bake slow for 35 minutes.
