Rich Pie Crust - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    6 c. flour, sifted
    2 1/2 c. shortening
    1 tsp. salt
    1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 egg, slightly beaten in measuring cup
    finish filling c. with 1 Tbsp. vinegar and water
Preparation
    Mix flour, salt and sugar.
    Add shortening and mix.
    Work in liquid.
    This makes a soft dough, easy to handle.
    Roll between sheets of wax paper slightly floured.
    This makes enough pastry for 3 big filled pies or 6 one crust pies.
    (Can refrigerate a few days.)
