Peanut Butter Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. Crisco
    1 c. brown sugar, packed
    1 c. crunchy peanut butter
    2 Tbsp. water
    1 1/2 tsp. soda
    1 c. sugar
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 eggs, beaten
    3 c. flour
Preparation
    Cream Crisco; gradually add sugars, beating until light and fluffy.
    Add eggs and water, beating well.
    Combine all dry ingredients, add to creamed mixture and mix well.
    Stir in peanut butter.
    Shape into balls; place 3 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Dip a glass bottom in sugar and flatten balls of cookie dough.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
    Remove to wire racks and cool completely.
    Yields about 8 dozen cookies.
