Banana Split Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box yellow cake mix
    1 large can crushed pineapple
    2 c. sugar
    1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
    1 small box vanilla instant pudding
    1 c. coconut
    4 bananas
    1 large nondairy Cool Whip
    1/2 c. chopped nuts and cherries
Preparation
    Mix cake as directed, except use milk instead of water.
    Bake. Bring to boil pineapple and sugar.
    Punch holes in cake; pour pineapple mixture over it.
    Mix pudding as directed.
    Mix with cream cheese.
    Spread over cake.
    Slice bananas on cake, then spread Cool Whip on cake.
    Sprinkle with pecans, coconut and cherries.
