Ingredients

1 1/4 c. sugar, divided
1 c. flour
7 Tbsp. Hershey's cocoa
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. milk
1/3 c. margarine, melted
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/4 c. hot water
Preparation

In mixing bowl, combine 3/4 cup sugar, flour, 3 tablespoons cocoa, baking powder and salt.
Blend in milk, margarine and vanilla; beat until smooth.
Pour batter into 9 x 9-inch pan.
In small bowl, combine remaining 1/2 cup sugar, brown sugar and remaining 4 tablespoons cocoa.
Sprinkle over batter.
Pour hot water over top.
Do not stir!
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 40 minutes or until center is almost set.
Let stand 15 minutes.
Spoon into dessert dishes, spooning sauce from bottom over top.
Serve with vanilla ice cream.
