Arlene'S 6 Weeks Muffins - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. boiling water
    2 c. 100% All-Bran
    1/2 c. shortening
    1 1/4 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 c. buttermilk
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    In a small bowl combine water and All-Bran; set aside.
    Cream shortening and sugar.
    Beat in the eggs, then the buttermilk and vanilla.
    Sift together the flour, baking soda and salt; add the dry ingredients and mix well.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven for 20 minutes.
