Mammaw'S Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1-1/2 c. Wesson oil
2 c. sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
3 c. apples, finely chopped

Preparation

Mix Wesson oil, sugar and eggs.
Add flour a little at a time, soda, cinnamon, salt and vanilla.
Mix well, then add apples.
You may add some of the apples to mixture before adding all of the flour to moisten batter.
Bake at 300 or 325\u00b0 for 35-40 minutes in two 8 or 9 inch pans.
