Raisin Date Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 c. water
    1 c. flour
    1 c. sugar
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 c. raisins or dates
    1/2 c. nuts
    1 c. milk or apple juice
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Boil the first two ingredients together.
    Let cool; pour in bottom of pan.
    Mix the remaining ingredients together.
    Bake in a 325\u00b0 oven for 45 minutes.
