Cowboy Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. brown sugar
2 c. flour, unsifted
1/2 c. shortening
1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. soda
1 egg
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt

Preparation

Mix brown sugar, flour and shortening together; put 2/3 cup of mixture into separate bowl and save.
Mix rest of ingredients with remaining mixture.
Pour mixture into cake pan and top with saved crumb mixture.
Bake at 350\u00b0 approximately 30 minutes.
